Fr. Jeremiah is originally from Dunkirk, NY and moved to Ocala, FL with his family in 1983. While not being raised in any religion, he became a Pentecostal on his own as a teenager and converted to Catholicism in 1998. He attended Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH and Ave Maria College in Ypsilanti, MI, after which he attended St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach.
Together with Fr. Tony, he was ordained a priest in 2007 and served two years as parochial vicar of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Winter Park and chaplain of Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando. From 2009-2011, he did advanced studies in sacramental theology at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome and then served for three years as an assistant professor of systematic theology at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary. His hobbies include cinema, canoeing, aviation, reading, single malts and craft beer.
Bishop Noonan has transitioned him from serving as a professor at the major seminary to HNJ so that he can gain more experience in parish life.
